Signal International Awarded ISO-9001:2008 Quality Recertification

MOBILE, AL–27 OCT 2009–Signal International proudly announces the recent completion of the ISO 9001:2008 three-year recertification audits in their Mississippi and Texas Divisions. This recertification of the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) were completed with Zero (0) findings (no Major nor minor findings), and Zero (0) Non-conformances.

During the audits Signal’s Quality Management System was reviewed to ensure proper implementation, procedure compliance, and proof of continuous process improvements, as required by the ISO 9001:2008 Standard, the newest global benchmark in the standards of excellence.

The Independent auditor awarded Signal commendations for above average performance in the following areas:
• Quality Records
• Communications with Employees
• Project Materials Control and Welder Traceability Documentation
